Some cutting jobs benefit from a fine replaceable edge, while others are better suited to a reusable steel blade. The Havalon DUO puts both options in the same folding handle. The Piranta end accepts Havalon 60A stainless steel blades for precise meat-processing work, and when an edge is finished you can replace the blade rather than stop to sharpen it. On the opposite end, the permanent cryo-hardened AUS-8 blade gives you a reusable edge for general outdoor cutting.

Both ends use liner-lock construction, while the Piranta side adds a safety lock. The rugged polymer handle also carries a removable pocket clip. Seven 60A blades are included in total, along with a zipper holster and blade remover for keeping the knife and replacement system together.
