Our smaller size Pazoda™ 2 is a stylish frame-lock folder with a 2.125" premium 8Cr14MoV blade, gray titanium nitride coated with a Razor-Sharp edge. The stainless steel frames are also given a gray titanium nitride coating, and then a brushed finish on the outer surface only, leaving an ample bright area for imprinting. The oval blade hole allows fast either-hand opening. A stainless steel clip is included.

Over the years our Pendleton Hunters have become enormously popular, many have asked us for a more affordable Pendleton that will accommodate just about anyone's budget.

In appearance it strongly resembles the rest of the family with a drop point blade, modest guard, hollowed bolster area and a flared butt to aid retention. The only major changes were the adoption of more affordable 4116 Krupp steel and the use of polypropylene instead of Kraton for the handle.

In our testing it got straight A's in the field as it is equally adept at field dressing and skinning, held a decent edge, was easy to sharpen, and proved to be tough as nails.

To maintain top performance of your Stoney Creek garment we recommend a regular warm washing at 40 degrees, inside out with a non-powdered laundry detergent (Sports Wash recommended) and occasional warm tumble dry, right side out.
A warm wash assists in killing bacteria and the warm drying for 20 minutes revives the fabric and rejuvenates the DWR and the Teflon coating ensuring on-going performance. NB: Powdered detergents have UV brightness visible to animals. We recommend reapplying DWR every two years. It is not recommended to store your garment damp, wet and scrunched.

The Outdoor Outfitters owl decoy is full body with excellent colouring and eyes to look as life-like as possible and stands 520mm high. The base is ideally suited to sit on a 4” fence post.

Owl decoys in New Zealand are useful for three key outcomes:

1 – To scare away birds and stop them nesting or ‘depositing’ on your property
2 – To draw in Magpies for culling – legal in NZ - https://www.bionet.nz/control/pests-under-management/pest-birds/

This owl decoy is full body with excellent colouring and eyes to look as life-like as possible and stands 520mm high.

To scare away birds you can fix in a static position (unmoving) but if you can add some motion this will enhance the life-like appearance to birds. It is also recommended that you change the location of your owl decoy so that the local birds don’t get used to your silent owl sentry.

To decoy in Magpies, it is also suggested that you add a magpie distress call.

For family members, we leave this up to your imagination.

The mallard duck call is best when kept simple. 

Hail Call: Say these words trying to hold a deep pitch through the sentence, starting out loud and tapering off.  

“Ka KAAAAAA  KAAAAA  KAAAAA  KAAAA KAA”

Lone Hen Quack. Say the word “Quuuaaaccckk” into the call in a deep tone.

Feed Call – Say the words “tick tick tick tick tick - tock tock tock - tick tick tick tick tick” very fast in repetition. This call is best used when hunting in the evening.

Come Back Call – The comeback call is similar to the greeting call but should be louder and longer. You need to let the birds know you are pleading to them. “Ka  KAAAAAAAAAAA KAAAAAAAA KAAAAAA KAAAAAA KAAA KAAAA”
