With the inclusion of a built-in Laser Range Finder (LRF), you can always be confident when ranging out to 1000m. The ThermTec Ares 335L has a stunning vanadium oxide thermal imaging chip that is based on 12 microns at a resolution of 384 x 288 pixels.

The Display can display images and videos in high definition. The panel is modern AMOLED Equipped with LEDs, these are self-illuminating, which means that they have no post-fogging effect in non-exposed areas. They work extremely efficiently and contribute to a longer battery life. It can also be one Reticle backlight switched on in the colours black, white, red or blue.

The picture-in-picture offers a wide field of view in the main screen while allowing the PIP to zoom in independently.

Zeroing in is comfortable, as the connected hunting app helps with this. It can be up to 5 different zeroing profiles

The classic design of the housing allows the Ares thermal imaging device to be mounted on a wide variety of platforms using 30mm rings which are included.

With the protection of IP67 Rain and dust cannot damage anything.

The ThermTec Smart Thermal app enables connection to a smartphone to share observations with up to 4 colleagues at the same time. What is new is that the WLAN module can send and receive in order to use the mobile Internet connection of the smartphone to be able to stream live on the net.

A single charge guarantees up to 9 hours of battery life (Talion XQ series), which covers the time of active use of the scope for a hunt. The built-in Wi-Fi module will connect the device with smartphones based on Android and iOS via the Stream Vision 2 mobile application. Users registered in the application are provided with cloud storage space for photos and videos taken with a digital or thermal imaging device.

Talion thermal riflescopes are high impact resistant and can be used with rifled hunting weapons with calibres of 9.3x64, .30-06, .300, .375H&H, etc., as well as with smooth-bore and pneumatic weapons.

• 5 shooting profiles / 50 zeroing distances

Zeroing settings are saved in a shooting profile. Talion memory contains up to five shooting profiles for several types of weapons or cartridges. Each profile can hold up to ten zeroing distances.

• A selection of 10 reticle shapes in 9 colour modes

A reticle is electronically displayed in the same plane as the target. The Talion memory contains ten reticle configurations and functions (direct shot type, ballistic, scalable and regular), all available in nine colour options.

• Precision aiming in the “Picture-in-picture” mode

The “Picture-in-picture” function enables the shooter to display a high-precision zeroing frame. Taking only 10% of the total display area, the frame shows a magnified image of the target and reticle and allows the user to closely see the image in the aiming area and have visual control of the entire field of view at the same time.

• Variable colour palettes

A choice of 8 colour palettes lets the user observe their field of view more effectively, allowing them to optimise the unit for specific tasks and react to changing observation conditions. White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot are optimal for object detection, and Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase chances for recognition & identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet are best suited to long-range observation at night.

All models are equipped with Wi-Fi, as well as a photo and video recording capability that supports memory cards with a capacity of up to 64 GB. Easy, intuitive operation is guaranteed: equivalent horizontal range (EHR) output requires no pre-programming. In steep terrain, EHR gives you greater safety and flexibility. Leica’s own algorithm takes into account not only the linear distance and angle but also a realistic ballistic trajectory, making it much more accurate than the cosine function known as the Rifleman’s Rule. The result is a highly precise calculation of the EHR at a ballistic function range of 1,200 yds/1,100 m..

At angle shots within a range of 10 to 1,100 metres the ballistic function (EHR) calculates the relevant shooting distance from the hunter to the targeted animal. Along with linear distance and angle, the algorithm developed by Leica always takes into account a realistic ballistic curve. It also includes barometric pressure and temperature – for fast, precise and easy calculation of the right point of aim in the mountains.

The body is wrapped in a protective rubber armor that provides a slip-resistant grip. To withstand the rigors of the trail, the optical tubes are nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and submersible, and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme temperatures and environmental conditions.

The ThermTec Cyclops CP350 thermal monocular is one of the very few to use artificial intelligence to measure distance and even distinguish the type of the object.

Cyclops monocular is equipped with a 50mm lens, 50Hz OLED display with high resolution of 1024x768px and a continuous digital 1-6x zoom, dioptric correction of ±5, a high quality 12µm core with a resolution of 384x288px with thermal sensitivity NETD <25mk (the lower the value, the more sensitive), and is therefore suitable even for poor weather conditions such as rain, fog, or snow.

The main feature of the Cyclops series - artificial intelligence - can automatically calculate the distance of the target and even distinguish what kind of object it is - whether it is a human or an animal.

The monocular offers 6 colour palettes and 6 crosshairs, so there really is something for everyone. It is also equipped with electronic image stabilization and a GPS function, with which you will always know at which location you have captured the footage. All functions are configurable in an unusual way - the Cyclops series uses a joystick instead of conventional buttons.

The 5-25x56 T5Xi scope from Steiner combines fully anti-reflection coated optics, a rugged waterproof body, and an illuminated reticle. The optical system features a 56mm objective for gathering more light in low-light conditions and a 5-25x zoom for medium-to-long range target acquisitions. Another highlight is the Special Competition Reticle (SCR) reticle, which consists of three very thin posts and a fine milling crosshair with an illuminated central area and a truncated top line. The reticle is located in the first focal plane and has densely spaced MIL-based hash marks. To provide clear visibility of the reticle's pattern in various lighting conditions, there are 11 illumination brightness levels: seven for daylight and four for nighttime. To help you compensate for wind and ballistic motion, the scope has 15 MIL windage and 26 MIL elevation adjustment ranges with 0.1 MIL clicks.

The low-profile turrets are resettable and have hard stops at zero positions to prevent going over the range. The adjustment knobs and dials are wide and offer a comfortable non-slip grip. The elevation dial also has a second rotation indicator (with an integrated window) to avoid confusion about where you are on the dial. A tapered eyepiece ring with a zoom factor scale enables an easy verification of your magnification setting while you are aiming, without taking your attention from your target. If you need an instant zoom adjustment, use the included eyepiece throw lever for one-finger operation. To make sure that your personal diopter setting cannot be accidentally bumped off its position, the diopter ring has a locking mechanism. For exceptional strength and durability, the body offers a 34mm single-piece maintube. It is shock resistant, fogproof, and waterproof submersible to 33'.

Steiner scopes manufactured after 2014 feature a transferrable life time warranty (30 years) against performance defects. Outside of these periods a flat rate exchange policy applies.
