By measuring the transit time of a laser beam emitted and reflected at the speed of light, the distance to the target is calculated with minimal tolerances. In less than 0.3 seconds, the on-board computer outputs the exact result, which proven LED display technology makes easy to read, even in very bright conditions. This offers the ultimate point-of-impact correction for a safe shot – even at longer ranges. Regardless of the weather, backlighting, or challenging uphill or downhill angle shots, highly sensitive sensors measure ambient parameters such as temperature, air pressure, and inclination angle. Based on these values, the ballistics correction values such as holdover, units, or clicks up to a range of 800 meters are output directly on the rangefinder display.
