How does a sonic cleaner work?
A sonic cleaner uses ultrasonic energy (40 kHz) in the form of sound waves to create millions of tiny microscopic bubbles in the added cleaning cleaning solution that can work their way into holes and hidden cavities, loosening dirt on all surfaces that the solution touches. This action is called cavitation, and it occurs thousands of times per second to gently yet thoroughly scrub contamination off desired articles to clean.
This cleaner is designed to be used with water paired with a solution such as Hornady's One Shot sonic solution.
