Mercator Pocket Knife - Genuine German Made

For more than 100 years the Mercator knife has been produced in Solingen almost unchanged. This Solingen original was first produced in the knife and blade forge "Mercator" Indiawerk Heinrich Kaufmann & Söhne. Even though it was not designed as an army knife, the army of Kaiser Wilhelm quickly learned to appreciate the qualities of the Mercator. The name "Kaiser Wilhelm Messer" originates from this time. As it is almost indestructible, the Mercator knife was passed on from generation to generation in the past. This is also how it made the leap into the present day.

Since 1995 this robust pocket knife has been produced by OTTER-Messer in Solingen. Its shape has remained the same until today, as well as its qualities with which it distinguishes itself in everyday life: reliability, robustness and handiness. Simple, functional and robust — the Mercator knife has offered these benefits for over 100 years. Even though it wasn't designed to be an army knife, it quickly gained acceptance in Emperor William's army. This was also the time that created the name "Emperor William Knife". Today, it is used worldwide and distinguishes itself with its narrow, rugged design in everyday life. It is lockable, which facilitates safety in working with it.

CRKT Piet Lightweight Everyday Use Folding Knife

Ready for the Rose City. Designer Jesper Voxnaes is far from the only artist to be inspired by the quirkiness that is Portland, Oregon. But he’s certainly the first to create an everyday carry folding knife so slim, lightweight, and perfectly suited for the city.

Typically, Jesper designs his custom creations in his shop in Loegstrup, Denmark. The Piet™ /peet/, though, was first sketched in Portland International Airport on the heels of his first-ever visit to the city. With a satin finish and a flat grind, the drop point blade is tough yet lightweight, it’ll fly under the radar until it’s time to do damage to some packaging. It’s perfectly balanced by a compact yet highly ergonomic glass-reinforced nylon handle and a deep-carry clip that makes it barely noticeable in the pocket of work pants. CRKT Knife Minimalist Black Drop point

Specifically built for anything that needs to be cut. These compact fixed blade neck knives with tough handles come in a variety of different blade styles. In the woods or around the house they feel equally at home.

They’re designed by Alan Folts of Melbourne, FL. A designer and dedicated custom knife instructor with over 20 years' experience, he cares deeply about helping folks learn about knives as tools, and passing along the skills of custom knife making to others.

These svelte dynamos pack a lot into their compact fixed blade knife designs. Available in plain edge Wharncliffe, tanto and Bowie style blades, they rip through a variety of cutting tasks better than most knives of comparable size. You owe it to yourself to see how something so compact can come up so big with such great control.

Let your first two fingers take hold of the G10 handle. Wrap the last two around the cord fob for extra grip. Then see where you can go with it from there. You'll find it's tough to argue against the value of having a knife along with you, especially one as versatile and comfortable as the Minimalist. It's slim in design only, not features.

They all come with a versatile carry sheath. Not that you'll be keeping them in there for long.

Take your favorite with you for when you might need it most—all of the time.

CRKT Kova Folding Knife Green 3.5 CRKT Kova Folding Knife Green 3.5 Sale
CRKT Kova Folding Knife Green 3.5"

A classic with a tough edge. The name Kova™ springs from Finnish origin, meaning “tough, hard, or demanding a lot of effort to endure.” Designed by veteran knife designer, Ken Steigerwalt, the front lock folding knife’s strength and durability isn’t just in the name, it’s how it rises to face everyday tasks and challenges.

Ever since he was a kid, whenever Ken Steigerwalt needed a knife, he would just make one. Now a renowned innovator with 35 years of designing knives under his belt, Ken introduces the Kova™. Inspired by older style midlock and backlock folders, Ken chose a front lock design using the knife’s liners as springs for the front lock, thus creating even more space for the blade. Simplifying the internal mechanism also impacted the exterior composition—making the knife more convenient to hold, with far less requirement to change your grip when opening or closing.

Complete with a 3.5” drop point blade and glass-reinforced nylon handles to showcase the subtle pattern work, the Kova™’ is the dependable everyday carry. With the front lock design, there’s no question this heavy duty knife will please both right and left handed users, with the ability to open and close the knife with a single hand.

For those looking for an everyday savior, choose the Kova™ for strength and simplicity.
