This steel has great edge retention properties and is easy to maintain. There is a serrated part on the back of the blade (upper part). The handle is made of ABS plastic, in a green design and is shaped to fit in the hand. The guard and the foot (end) of the handle are made of zamak material. The knife includes a black leather sheath with the Miguel Nieto logo.

The Miguel Nieto Rescate (Rescue) Folding knife features two blades. One standard drop point blade & a Multi-purpose rescue blade. 

The rescue blade was designed to combat difficult situations or positions in which a drop point blade would struggle to be effective.
